We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Audiologist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in South London. They are seeking a qualified Audiologist with previous Paediatric experience.
Job Description
To ensure an effective audiological service is provided to all children in Bexley in association with other health professionals and colleagues from other agencies. To provide specialised advice and support to parents and carers. To work autonomously in providing a Community Paediatric Audiology Service, providing hearing assessments and ongoing monitoring of hearing, including a service for children with sensory-neural hearing loss. To undertake evidence-based audit and research projects to further own and team’s clinical practice, making recommendations to clinical lead and, when appropriate, lead the implementation of specific changes to practice or contribute to service protocols. To respond to opportunities to extend and enhance the Community Audiology Service. To contribute to service developments and strategies and to ensure the achievement of agreed objective for the Service. To comply with any Service Level Agreements. To support multi-agency support to Child Protection Issues.
Position Requirements
•HCPC Registered
•Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
•Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Audiology setting
