We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Occupational Therapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Buckinghamshire. They are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist with previous Acute experience.
Job Description
Working Pattern: 37.5hr Monday-Friday
Start date: ASAP
End date: min 6 months
Shift Pattern: 8-4
• To have responsibility for leading and developing the Therapy team within Acute Medicine, in regard to all aspects of clinical governance within this specialty.
• To perform specialised assessment and treatment for patients with highly complex needs, and to provide expert advice, guidance and information to health and social care professionals, carers, relatives and others.
• To undertake all aspects of clinical responsibilities as a skilled, autonomous and advanced practitioner.
• To actively lead development of professional and service initiatives and contribute to organisational objectives.
• To supervise, teach and appraise Occupational Therapy staff and students within the specialty.
Position Requirements
•HCPC Registered
•Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
•Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Occupational Therapy setting
