IMC Locums are seeking an experienced Locum Cath Lab Physiologist to join a dynamic cardiology team in a well-established hospital in Middlesbrough. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking for flexible working arrangements while contributing to life-saving cardiac procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures, including angiograms, angioplasty, and pacemaker implants
✔ Monitoring and analyzing physiological data during procedures
✔ Working closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and efficiency
✔ Maintaining and calibrating cath lab equipment
Requirements:
Degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualification
HPC/ RCCP registration preferred
Proven experience working in a cath lab environment
Strong knowledge of invasive cardiology and electrophysiology
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
