Stress Echocardiographer

Contract: Locum – Full Time / Part Time

Hourly Rate: £55-£60 Ltd company
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 7 Echocardiographer to join our dynamic Cardiology team on a locum basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and reporting stress echocardiography (both exercise and pharmacological) as well as a range of transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs) in accordance with British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and report high-quality stress echocardiograms and routine TTEs
Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary cardiac physiology team
Contribute to maintaining accreditation and quality assurance standards
Support junior staff and assist in the training of student echocardiographers
Ensure timely and accurate documentation and reporting within the hospital system
Requirements
BSc in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent qualification
Current BSE accreditation
Proven experience performing and reporting stress echocardiograms
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work autonomously in a busy clinical environment
