Band 6 Registered General Nurse – Somerset
IMC Locums are looking for Band 6 RGN that would be interested in a line of work within a reputable NHS Trust based in Somerset.
Job Description
- Working within professional guidelines and accountability, the post holder will have joint responsibility for ensuring that the physical health monitoring of allocated high-risk patients, takes place.
- Case manage, alongside Band 7, all high risk patients that are not allocated to a therapist within the Eating Disorders Service (EDS).
- Liaise with the allocated professionals both within and outside of the service as appropriate for all cases open to team (e.g. therapists within EDS, Care Co-ordinator within the Community Mental Health Team,).
- Liaise with other agencies, including accessing specialist inpatient beds and providing eating disorder support, guidance and training to those within primary care, acute care and secondary mental health services to ensure recovery-based and person-centred care.
- Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00
Position Requirements
• Valid NMC registration
• Enhanced DBS
• PMVA training
• Driver’s license
