We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Physiotherapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in West London. They are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist with previous Inpatient experience.
Job Description
This is a dynamic and varied clinical post working across our specialist and general medical wards. You will work closely with the senior health therapy team, and the STAR team (Emergency department team). This post is and inpatient band 6 physiotherapy role where you will have exposure to a multitude of exciting clinical areas, medicine, senior health, cardiac and renal to name but a few. As part of the role, you will help cover therapy services in winter escalation areas. You will have access to in-service training and if it interests you, you will have the opportunity to supervise band 5 physiotherapists and therapy technicians. All the while you will be to gaining experience working in an innovative and advanced London teaching hospital.
Your main duties will involve providing ward-based therapy, assessment, intervention, and discharge planning to inpatients working closely with the multidisciplinary team. You will support the therapy department with administration duties and clinical duties.
Position Requirements
•HCPC Registered
•Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
•Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within Inpatient settings
