Are you a skilled MSK Sonographer seeking a new opportunity in Surrey?
We are currently seeking an experienced Agency MSK Sonographer to join a leading healthcare provider in Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a modern and dynamic imaging department, providing essential diagnostic services for musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform musculoskeletal ultrasound scans for patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal complaints, including joints, soft tissues, tendons, ligaments, and muscles.
Provide clear, high-quality images for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Conduct assessments and diagnostic imaging for both acute and chronic MSK conditions, including sports injuries and degenerative joint disease.
Work collaboratively with the clinical team to interpret results and assist with treatment planning.
Ensure patient comfort and provide professional, compassionate care during the imaging process.
Maintain accurate patient records, adhering to departmental and legal standards.
Participate in departmental audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Essential Requirements:
HCPC Registered Sonographer (or equivalent)
Experience in MSK Ultrasound, including diagnostic and guided injection procedures.
Strong ability to produce high-quality images and interpret musculoskeletal conditions.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.
Up-to-date knowledge of MSK ultrasound protocols and clinical standards.
A professional and empathetic approach to patient care, ensuring comfort throughout the imaging process.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with ultrasound-guided injections (if applicable).
Previous experience in a private healthcare setting is a bonus.
Additional imaging modalities knowledge (e.g., MRI) is advantageous.
