Role Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vascular Sonographer / Vascular Technician to join an established NHS Hospital in South Wales on a locum basis. You will be working within a supportive imaging department performing a range of non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations including:
Arteriovenous fistula (AVF) assessments
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) screening and surveillance
Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) scans
Peripheral arterial and venous studies (as required)
Accurately report and document findings in line with departmental protocols.
Liaise effectively with clinical and surgical teams to support patient care.
Maintain high professional and clinical standards at all times.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Vascular Sonographer / Vascular Technician within an NHS or equivalent healthcare setting.
Competent in performing the full range of vascular examinations listed above.
HCPC or SVT registration (or equivalent) preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload efficiently.
Right to work in the UK.

Engagement: Paid via Direct Engagement (no umbrella companies).
Contract: Ongoing, with potential to extend.
IR35: This role falls Inside IR35.
