About the Role
IMC Locums is seeking an experienced Pain Management Nurse to join a respected healthcare service within the West Suffolk area. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nurse to provide expert care and support to patients managing acute and chronic pain conditions.
You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and ensuring patient wellbeing through assessment, intervention, and education.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized pain management plans.
Administer appropriate pain relief treatments and interventions.
Support patients and families with education and guidance on managing pain effectively.
Work collaboratively with consultants, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other members of the MDT.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical governance standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery and patient outcomes.
Requirements
NMC-registered Nurse (Band 6 or above preferred).
Proven experience in pain management, anaesthetics, or chronic pain services.
Up-to-date clinical skills and evidence of CPD.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Right to work in the UK and availability for locum shifts in the West Suffolk area.
