Locum Band 6 Acute Mental Health Physiotherapist – Northamptonshire

We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Physiotherapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Northamptonshire. They are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist with previous Acute experience.
Job Description
To work in acute mental health, across adult and possibly older adult functional and dementia wards. Provision of screening, assessments, falls safety, 1:1 and group treatments. Ability to assess physical/mobility needs for discharge and prescribe aids/adaptations for safe discharge. Home visits. Physical ability to undertake manual handling and Breakaway/Low Level Intervention training.
Must have Smartcard , MUST have current or recent SystmOne Knowledge ,own transport. This role is Face to Face only.
Position Requirements
- HCPC Registered
- 3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
- Full time hours (Monday – Friday)
- The successful candidate will be working within a strong team.
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within an Acute Mental Health setting
