Locum Echocardiographer – Worthing
We are currently seeking an experienced Locum Echocardiographer to join a dynamic and friendly cardiology team in Worthing, West Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-equipped department offering high standards of patient care.
Position: Locum Echocardiographer
Location: Worthing, West Sussex
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Rate: Competitive hourly rates (dependent on experience and umbrella/PAYE)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and report transthoracic echocardiograms independently to BSE standards
Support the cardiology team with diagnostic imaging
Contribute to patient care through high-quality cardiac ultrasound assessments
Use Philips/Epic or GE machines (experience preferred but not essential)
Requirements:
BSE accreditation or equivalent (highly desirable)
Proven experience working as an echocardiographer within the NHS or similar healthcare settings
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
