We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locum CT Radiographer to join our Imaging team!

Our healthcare facility is looking for a Locum CT Radiographer to provide expert radiographic services on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced professionals to work in a modern, well-equipped imaging department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT imaging for a wide range of cases, including emergency and routine examinations.

  • Ensure the highest standards of image quality are maintained while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

  • Assist with the planning and execution of contrast-enhanced CT scans, including injections and protocols.

  • Work closely with clinicians to ensure accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning.

  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, departmental protocols, and patient confidentiality standards.

  • Manage patient flow efficiently and effectively, ensuring optimal use of CT facilities.

  • Provide professional support and education to junior staff, if required.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and document scan details as per the department’s guidelines.

Essential Requirements:

  • HCPC Registered Radiographer (or equivalent).

  • Proven experience in CT scanning (minimum 1-2 years).

  • Siemens & GE scanner experience
  • Solid knowledge of CT imaging techniques, protocols, and equipment.

  • Ability to adapt quickly in a busy and high-pressure environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Good understanding of radiation safety and patient care protocols.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with contrast injection (intravenous) in CT imaging.

  • Postgraduate qualifications in CT or diagnostic radiography.

  • Familiarity with advanced CT modalities (e.g., cardiac CT, CT angiography).

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, such as A&E or acute care settings.
