About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Locum Cath Lab Radiographer to join a leading cardiac team in Hampshire. This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week and is ideally suited to a radiographer with proven experience in cardiac catheterisation labs (Cath Labs), supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
You will work alongside cardiologists, nurses, and physiologists to deliver safe, accurate imaging support during high-pressure, time-critical interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality imaging services during cardiac procedures (e.g., angiograms, angioplasty, pacemaker insertion)
Ensure radiation safety practices are adhered to at all times
Operate specialist imaging equipment in the Cath Lab environment
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Support smooth workflow and patient care in a dynamic clinical setting
Requirements:
HCPC-registered Diagnostic Radiographer
Proven experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
Excellent understanding of radiation protection principles and Cath Lab protocols
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full right to work in the UK
