About the Role:
IMC Locums are seeking an experienced, dedicated Cardiologist with Cath Lab expertise to join our team on a locum basis in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in a state-of-the-art facility while providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization laboratory.
Provide accurate and timely assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans for patients.
Work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Ensure patient safety and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Participate in on-call duties as required.
Collaborate with other specialists and medical staff to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements:
Qualified Cardiologist with proven experience in Cath Lab procedures.
Valid and current medical registration/license (depending on local requirements).
In-depth knowledge of cardiac anatomy and interventional cardiology.
Experience with angiograms, PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention), and other invasive cardiology procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
