Locum Opportunity – Cardiac Physiologist (Cath Lab)
We are currently seeking an experienced Cardiac Physiologist with Cath Lab experience to join a dynamic cardiac team on a locum basis at a leading healthcare facility.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to vital interventional cardiology procedures while benefiting from flexible locum working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialist physiological support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheter lab procedures (including angiograms, PCI, pacemaker implantation, and electrophysiology studies)
Operate and maintain monitoring equipment during procedures
Perform and interpret ECGs, Holter monitoring, and other non-invasive tests (as required)
Ensure accurate documentation and support clinical decision-making
Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
Significant Cath Lab experience is essential
RCCP or AHCS registration (desirable)
IBHRE or BHRS certification (advantageous)
Strong clinical judgment, technical skill, and communication abilities
