Locum Cardiac Devices Physiologist – Sheffield
We are currently seeking an experienced Cardiac Devices Physiologist for a locum position in Sheffield, working within a well-established Cardiology Department. This role involves device follow-up clinics and interrogation services, supporting a range of cardiac patients.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform device follow-ups for pacemakers, ICDs, CRT-P, and CRT-D systems (in-person and remote monitoring).
Undertake pre- and post-operative device checks and reprogramming.
Document and report findings accurately using electronic health record systems.
Liaise with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams on patient management and clinical decisions.
Assist in organising and streamlining device clinic workflows.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current device technologies and guidelines.
Requirements:
BSc in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent.
Experience in cardiac rhythm management (pacemakers, ICDs, CRT).
IBHRE or BHRS accreditation (preferred but not essential if experience is demonstrable).
NHS or UK-based clinical experience in devices (minimum 12 months).
Proficient with major device platforms (Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Abbott, Biotronik, etc.).
Desirable:
Knowledge of remote monitoring platforms (e.g., Merlin, CareLink, Latitude).
Familiarity with Cath Lab support for device implants (bonus).
RCCP/AHCS registration or equivalent.
