IMC Locums are looking for a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist Microbiology in Surrey

Job Description

  • Ongoing assignment
  • ASAP start
  • Band 6
  • Monday to Friday  between 9am to 5pm

Position Requirements

  • HCPC Registration
  • Sample preparation, processing bodily fluids and materials, including high-risk specimens and reagent preparation following protocols.
  • Good understanding of microbiological disease and terminology.
  • Ability to use sophisticated serological methods.
  • Experience in Kiestra, Maldi, Urimast and Entericbio
  • Minimum 2 years within a Diagnostic Microbiology setting
