Band 6 Older People’s Liaison Psychiatry Nurse
The liaison Service provides mental health assessment, interventions, education/training, advice, and access into mainstream mental health services where necessary. You will require knowledge and experience of managing dementia and other mental health difficulties commonly found in older people. It is also necessary to have knowledge of older people’s physical health problems. The role involves autonomously carrying out generic mental health assessments and treatments while working closely with the team members. The team also provide some short-term follow up care/home visits within the community.

• ASAP Start
• Monday to Friday (4 days per week)
• 9-5 or 8-6
• Up to £27 per hour
Position Requirements
• Valid NMC registration
• Enhanced DBS
• PMVA training
• Driver’s license
