Locum Cardiac Physiologist – Cath Lab

Hourly Rate: £40–£45

Key Responsibilities
Assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures within the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, including coronary angiography, PCI, and electrophysiology studies.
Provide support during pacemaker and ICD implantation and follow-up procedures.
Monitor and record haemodynamic data during procedures.
Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of procedures.
Adhere to departmental protocols and contribute to quality assurance processes.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Cath Lab setting.
Experience with a range of cardiac physiological procedures, including ECG, ETT, and haemodynamic monitoring.
RCCP registration or equivalent.
Evidence of ongoing professional development.
Desirable Skills
BHRS or IBHRE accreditation.
Experience in mentoring or training junior staff.
Advanced life support (ALS) certification.
Experience with complex PCI and congenital diagnostic procedures.
