Are you an experienced Obstetrics Sonographer seeking a new opportunity in the picturesque county of Dorset? We are looking for a dedicated and confident sonographer to join our supportive ultrasound team within a well-established NHS department.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality obstetric ultrasound examinations, including early pregnancy, dating, anomaly, growth, and wellbeing scans.
Work within established guidelines to ensure accurate reporting and effective patient management.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care with excellent communication throughout appointments.
Collaborate with midwives, obstetricians, radiologists, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to local and national clinical standards.
Requirements
BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound with obstetric competency.
HCPC or relevant sonography accreditation.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Previous NHS experience preferred.
