About the Role
We are seeking an experienced DEXA Radiographer to join a friendly imaging team in Devon on a locum basis. This role offers an excellent work–life balance with three long days per week, making it ideal for radiographers looking for flexible hours in a scenic part of the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality DEXA scans in line with clinical protocols and best practice.
Ensure accurate patient positioning, data acquisition, and image processing.
Maintain and calibrate DEXA equipment to the highest standards.
Provide clear communication and excellent patient care throughout the imaging process.
Work collaboratively with the wider radiology and osteoporosis teams.
Requirements
HCPC registration (essential).
Previous experience performing DEXA scans (minimum 6 months).
Competent with DEXA scanning systems (GE Lunar or Hologic preferred).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
