Electro cardiologist – Locum
Location: County Durham
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months
Rate: £50.00 – £60.00 Ltd an hour
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electro cardiologist to join our team on a locum basis, supporting our cardiology department with advanced ECG interpretation and patient management. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a modern facility with cutting-edge diagnostic tools based in County Durham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpretation and reporting of ECGs, Holter monitors, and stress tests
- Supporting the diagnosis and management of arrhythmias and other cardiac conditions
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary cardiology team
- Participation in case discussions and MDTs (if required)
- Optional involvement in teaching and research (depending on interest)
Requirements:
- Full GMC registration (or equivalent licensing body if outside UK)
- CCT or equivalent in Cardiology with sub-specialty expertise in ECG/arrhythmia
- Recent experience working as a consultant or specialist in Electrocardiology
- ALS certification (desirable)
- Right to work in the UK (or relevant country)
