IMC Locums are seeking an experienced Non-Obstetric Sonographer to join an NHS Trust in South Wales on a locum basis.
Role Overview
You will be working as part of the imaging team, providing high-quality ultrasound services across a range of examinations. This role is ideal for a sonographer looking for consistent Friday shifts within a supportive NHS environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general sonography examinations, including:
Gynaecology
Abdominal scans
Pelvic assessments
Deliver accurate diagnostic imaging in line with professional and NHS standards.
Work collaboratively with clinicians and healthcare staff to ensure patient-focused care.
Requirements
HCPC registration (or relevant professional accreditation).
Proven experience as a Non-Obstetric Sonographer.
Proficiency in general ultrasound examinations (gynae, abdomens, pelvis, etc.).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
