About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mammographer to join our friendly Breast Imaging team in Leicester on a locum basis. The role will involve providing high-quality mammography services, ensuring excellent patient care and contributing to the smooth running of the breast screening and symptomatic services.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality mammographic imaging in accordance with national guidelines.
Support both the NHS Breast Screening Programme and symptomatic breast services.
Work collaboratively with radiologists, radiographers, and support staff.
Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Provide a professional, compassionate, and patient-centred service.
Requirements
HCPC registration.
Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography (or equivalent).
Previous NHS or private sector mammography experience.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
