About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sonographer to provide high-quality ultrasound services for early pregnancy assessments in Leicester. This is a locum role offering flexible hours and an opportunity to join a supportive, patient-centred team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform early pregnancy and gynaecological scans in accordance with national and local guidelines.
Provide clear, sensitive communication and support to patients during scans.
Accurately report and document scan findings.
Work collaboratively with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain compliance with clinical governance, infection control, and safety standards.
Requirements
HCPC registration (or equivalent).
Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (or equivalent).
Demonstrated experience in early pregnancy and gynaecological ultrasound.
Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centred approach.
