The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Sonographer to join a busy imaging service in Surrey. The ideal candidate will be confident in carrying out a range of ultrasound scans, with particular expertise in Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Abdominal imaging.
This role offers the chance to work in a supportive team, with flexibility around shifts and strong opportunities for ongoing bookings.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations including DVT, Abdominal, and General scans.
Provide accurate diagnostic reports in line with local protocols.
Ensure excellent standards of patient care, safety, and dignity.
Work collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare staff.
Maintain up-to-date CPD and adhere to HCPC/SCoR professional standards.
Requirements
Post-graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound.
HCPC or SCoR registration (or eligibility).
Proven experience in DVT and Abdominal ultrasound scanning.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to different clinical settings.
