Pay Rates:
£26.00 per hour (Gross, Umbrella)
£22.61 per hour (PAYE)
The Role
We are seeking an experienced DEXA Radiographer to join a busy NHS Hospital in St Helens on a locum basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a radiographer with DEXA scanning experience to contribute to high-quality patient care in a supportive clinical environment.
You will be working weekend shifts only (12-hour shifts, 08:00–20:00), supporting the radiology department by carrying out DEXA scans efficiently and accurately, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Perform DEXA scans in line with NHS protocols and standards.
Accurately interpret and record imaging results.
Ensure the safe and effective use of radiographic equipment.
Work collaboratively with the wider radiology and clinical team.
Deliver high standards of patient care and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
Proven experience in DEXA scanning.
NHS or relevant hospital experience (desirable).
Ability to work independently on weekend shifts.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
