Job Title: Locum Electrophysiologist
Location: London
Duration: Typically 3–12 months; flexible based on need
Hours: Clinical sessions including clinics, lab-based procedures, inpatient care, and on-call participation
Salary: Paying £70- £80.00 an hour Ltd company
Responsibilities:
Conduct and manage ablations (AF, SVT, VT), device implantations, and follow-ups
Lead outpatient clinics and inpatient treatment plans
Mentor junior staff, contribute to teaching and research
Ensure compliance with clinical governance, audits, and service development targets
Liaise across multi-disciplinary teams to maintain service delivery
Person Specification:
Full GMC registration and Specialist Register eligibility
MRCP (UK) and subspecialty training in EP
Proven independent operator in EP and device implantation
Strong communication, leadership, and governance experience
Desirable: Academic credentials, EP accreditation, research/publication record
