About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Locum MSK Sonographer to join our dynamic radiology team in Norfolk. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

As a Locum MSK Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations on patients referred for various conditions. You will work alongside our multidisciplinary team of radiologists, physiotherapists, and medical professionals to ensure that the highest standard of care is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MSK ultrasound scans across a wide range of anatomical areas.

  • Provide accurate and timely reporting for musculoskeletal conditions, including joint, tendon, and soft tissue injuries.

  • Work with clinicians to assist in diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal disorders.

  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.

  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with NHS and legal standards.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to patients.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Essential Requirements:

  • HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council).

  • Extensive experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound scanning.

  • Proven experience in MSK reporting, ideally with knowledge of diagnostic conditions such as tendon injuries, joint pathologies, and soft tissue disorders.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with medical staff and patients.

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Ability to start immediately or within a short time frame.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working in NHS settings.

  • Additional qualifications in musculoskeletal imaging or related fields.

  • A flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach to clinical work.
