Location: Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (Truro / Bodmin / West Cornwall)
Salary: ÂŁ26 -ÂŁ30 per hour (Band 7)
Hours: Fullâtime (37.5âŻhrs) â covering weekdays, nights, weekends & bank holidays
Contract: Contract (also open to partâtime candidates)
đ About the Role
Join our 7âday CT service, rotating across three sites with five CT scanners (including Canon & GE platforms) . Youâll perform advanced CT imaging for acute, trauma, and general diagnostic work, supporting both NHS and private patients. The service is accredited âOutstandingâ and serves as a training hub with radiologists, advanced practitioners, and radiography students
đŻ What We’re Looking For
Qualified Diagnostic Radiographer â BSc/DCR(R) with current HCPC registration
CT experience â ideally with GE & Canon scanners; willingness to learn across multiple platforms
Proven IV cannulation skills and ability to cannulate confidently
ILS (Immediate Life Support) training â essential for emergency coverage
Flexible working â able to cover weekdays, nights, weekends, and bank holidays
â Essential Experience & Skills
Postâgraduate CT work and NHS clinical radiography experience
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patientâcare focus
Competency in using PACS/RIS systems, and readiness to support audit, QA, and CPD activities
đ Nice to Have
Postâgrad qualification in CT (PgC)
Previous experience with MRI or Trauma-Acute-General (TAG) Xâray
âą Leadership or senior radiographer experience
