đŸ„ CT Radiographer – Cornwall (Band 6 – 7)

Location: Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (Truro / Bodmin / West Cornwall)
Salary: ÂŁ26 -ÂŁ30 per hour (Band 7)
Hours: Full‑time (37.5 hrs) – covering weekdays, nights, weekends & bank holidays
Contract: Contract (also open to part‑time candidates)

🔎 About the Role

Join our 7‑day CT service, rotating across three sites with five CT scanners (including Canon & GE platforms) . You’ll perform advanced CT imaging for acute, trauma, and general diagnostic work, supporting both NHS and private patients. The service is accredited ‘Outstanding’ and serves as a training hub with radiologists, advanced practitioners, and radiography students

🎯 What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Diagnostic Radiographer – BSc/DCR(R) with current HCPC registration

  • CT experience – ideally with GE & Canon scanners; willingness to learn across multiple platforms

  • Proven IV cannulation skills and ability to cannulate confidently

  • ILS (Immediate Life Support) training – essential for emergency coverage

  • Flexible working – able to cover weekdays, nights, weekends, and bank holidays

✅ Essential Experience & Skills

  • Post‑graduate CT work and NHS clinical radiography experience

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient‑care focus

  • Competency in using PACS/RIS systems, and readiness to support audit, QA, and CPD activities

🌟 Nice to Have

  • Post‑grad qualification in CT (PgC)

  • Previous experience with MRI or Trauma-Acute-General (TAG) X‑ray

  • ‱ Leadership or senior radiographer experience
