Rate: £45-£50.00 Ltd an hour
Hours: Full-time preferred (Mon–Fri), but part-time considered
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Locum Cardiac Physiologist with specialist Electrophysiology (EP) experience to join a leading NHS Trust in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established Cardiology team in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently perform and report on complex EP studies, including 3D mapping
Assist with Electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures
Provide technical support during device implantation and follow-up
Perform a range of non-invasive and invasive cardiac investigations
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with Trust protocols
Requirements:
BSc in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent
IBHRE, BHRS, or equivalent EP accreditation (desirable)
Proven experience in Electrophysiology procedures and 3D mapping systems (e.g., Carto, EnSite, Rhythmia)
HCPC or RCCP registration (preferred but not essential)
NHS experience strongly preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
