We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Echocardiographer to join a leading healthcare team on a locum basis. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic cardiac ultrasound services to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) independently
Use of echocardiography equipment and reporting software (e.g., GE Vivid, Philips, EchoPAC/TomTec)
Interpret and report findings in line with departmental protocols
Collaborate with cardiology and wider clinical teams to support diagnosis and treatment planning
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure high standards of care
Requirements:
BSE Accredited or equivalent (desirable)
Proven experience in independent echocardiography scanning and reporting
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
