Locum Echocardiographer – Kent

Role: Band 7 Locum Echocardiographer
Location: Kent
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3 months (with potential for extension)
Hours: Full-time or Part-time
Hourly Rate: £50–£60
Key Responsibilities:
Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and other diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures.
Interpret and analyse echocardiographic data to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
Accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) or equivalent accreditation (EACVI/ARDMS).
Proven experience as an Echocardiographer.
Experience in performing echocardiograms.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
