IMC Locums are looking for Senior Mental health Nurse in Isle of Wight to work with our reputable NHS Hospital.
Job Description
• Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
• The overall job purpose will be to provide clinical and managerial leadership with mentoring and educational input to the multidisciplinary team working across the Mental Health and Learning Disability Liaison Service. This includes acting as a clinical leader and expert practitioner liaising, guiding, and advising the multidisciplinary team in the provision of optimum patient experience with the Acute Hospital setting. They will also be responsible for supporting the effective role modelling, ongoing management and clinical supervision, and mentorship to the team
• Responsible for managing their team by providing mentoring, supervision, and education in relation to all managerial, professional and performance processes. Within the leadership role they will be responsible for supporting the team and providing feedback on the evaluation of good and poor practice, identifying training and education opportunities to improve practice and delivery
Position Requirements
• Valid NMC registration
• Enhanced DBS
• PMVA/MAPA training
• Driver’s license
