Junior Biomedical Scientist

Our private laboratory client is revolutionizing diagnostic services, providing high-tech, rapid solutions across London and beyond. The lab specializes in PCR testing for SARS-CoV-2 and offers various blood sciences services.
Main Responsibilities:
Assist Senior Biomedical Scientists in pathology laboratory operations
Manage specimen reception, labelling, sorting, and sending samples
Perform data entry using LIMS
Handle pre-analytical sample processing and reagent preparation
Monitor fridge/freezer temperatures and manage stock
Ensure laboratory equipment and work areas are clean
Dispose of chemical and biological waste
Maintain and file records, answer telephone inquiries
Participate in stainability and social impact initiatives
Report results and run EQA samples after training
Requirements:
Previous experience in a diagnostic laboratory (preffered Multi lab)
Proficient in pathology disciplines and laboratory information systems
Attention to detail and adherence to lab protocols
Basic knowledge of pathology is preferred
Strong data input skills
HCPC registration
