We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Occupational Therapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in West Midlands. They are seeking a qualified OT with previous Neuro experience.
Job Description
Work within an outpatient neurological service with patients who have recently being diagnosed with a neurological event. Be part of the interdisciplinary team (IDT) delivering high quality specialist occupational therapy for clients by adherence to clinical governance and evidence-based practice. Provide service in a range of community settings using highly developed specialist practice underpinned by theoretical knowledge/neuro qualifications. Be a specialist resource of information for health and social care staff, patients, families, carers and external agencies who may require advice, support and guidance in the management of these patients. Transfer individual patients’ on-going care to other agencies as appropriate and ensure that the service provided is conducted in a professional, efficient, and effective way. To meet the service specification objectives as part of a team providing high quality neuro service
Position Requirements
•HCPC Registered
•Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
•Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Neuro setting
