Locum Band 8a Advanced Physiotherapist Cheshire

We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Physiotherapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Cheshire. They are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist with previous Injection Therapy experience.
Job Description
• Registered with the HCPC or equivalent regulatory body.
• Degree / Diploma study in Health Profession • Evidence of attaining advanced competencies to support extended role e.g. medical investigations/imaging, advanced clinical reasoning, triage. It is an expectation that training will include relevant Masters level modules and will involve working towards a Masters Qualification.
• Membership of a relevant professional body & related specialist sub-groups • Range of generalist therapy knowledge.
• Advanced specialist musculoskeletal knowledge, demonstrated by prior post as an Advanced Clinical Specialist / completion of Advanced Practitioner Framework.
• In-depth knowledge of recent NHS legislation, recommendations for specialist area.
• Detailed awareness of the national and local priorities and changing trends in the specialist area
• Cross boundary working between primary and secondary care. • MDT working. • Experience working independently as a clinical lead within current role.
• Relevant qualification and experience in Injection Therapy.
• Non-medical Prescriber. • Attendance at IRMER updates
• Good time management and organisational skills, demonstrated by ability prioritise own caseload, and organise workload over several geographical locations.
• Communication skills training
• Awareness of current NHS Policy.
Position Requirements
•HCPC Registered
•Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
•Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Physiotherapy setting
