Locum Band 6 Acute Occupational Therapist – Worcestershire

We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Occupational Therapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Worcestershire. They are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist with previous Acute experience.
Job Description
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 08.00-16.00 or 08.30-16.30
End Date (Subject to Change): 15/03/2024
Specifics:
•Occupational Therapy In-Patient Service, delivering occupational therapy to 7 wards, predominantly acute medicine; the patient group is moderate to complex
•Earlier assessment and intervention and proactive discharge planning to ensure that patients leave the hospital having been provided quality Occupational Therapy for a safe and timely discharge
Experience of:
•Administration and interpretation of commonly used standardised cognitive assessments
•A range of manual handling assessment and evidence of provision of low to high level manual handling equipment
•Early intervention and acute rehabilitation
•Working within a multidisciplinary team
Working with patients on fast-track discharge
Position Requirements
•HCPC Registered
•Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
•Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within an Occupational Therapy setting
