We are seeking an experienced HCPC registered Band 5 Biomedical Scientist who has excellent Biochemistry experience and Haematology would also be an advantage.
Our private client based in Surrey is looking for a BMS to join their small laboratory team.
Your duties within the role would involve the whole 360 sample process from booking in and record patient data, to running sample through pathology tests identified and reviewing results.
Testing in this spoke lab would be mainly for cancer patients receiving treatment as well as other routine testing.
There is no Blood film morphology on site or Blood transfusion.
The laboratory can vary in terms of volume and although at times the sample numbers can be low, at other times volumes can increase and the lab can be very busy.
There is a slight shift variation Monday to Friday core hours x 6 per day 10am to 4, but there will also at times early cover and some late cover required.
The role is 30 hours per week.

Salary will be based on experience £31.000 to £35.000 pro rata – 30 hours per week
