About the role

Reporting to and working closely with the Clinical Manager you will assist the clinical team to ensure we deliver optimal Quality service at the Centre, striving for improvements in day-to-day workflows and processes.
You will assist in the review of relevant policies, Risk assessments and Standard operating procedures. You will liaise with other departments and ensure smooth and efficient communication and workflow with the Bookings and Reception teams.
You will have an opportunity to further develop your Clinical knowledge and participate in Clinical Governance meetings.
You will provide support to the clinical team by example and embark on opportunities to promote learning culture and knowledge sharing. This role requires you to be at the Centre 5 days a week, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours per week with shifts from 07:30AM-11PM.

Responsibilities

Operations:
Working closely with the Clinical Manager, ensure the Centre functions at a high standard providing Quality, Safe and Efficient service always.
Daily operational support to reception team at both Wimpole and Dover Street.
Training of new team, including participation in probation reviews.
Ensure all enquiries are dealt with accurately, timely and effective manner
In the event of equipment failure, communicate to the relevant teams- working with Operations Team Lead and Clinical manager in arranging alternative options.
Approve calendar blocks if required on the day and communicate this to relevant team members
Assist in managing the radiologist allocations, and understanding what services are on and who is onsite including any vulnerable patients.
Assist with managing clinical incidents, data breaches and complaints and reporting results to the Clinical Manager.
maintain stock levels for drugs and clinical consumables
Providing support and training to the Clinical Team.
Accurately record and report on complaints and incidents in line with Company policy, coming forward with suggestions to prevent these going forward.
Identify and report any risk which has a potential adverse effect on ability to maintain quality of care and the safety of patients, colleagues and visitors.
Working with the Clinical Manager, ensure Reception Team and clinical team are competent on how to do a manual patient transfer in the event of an emergency.
Take responsibility for stock control and ordering of Centre supplies.
Working with the wider team, take an active role in contributing ideas towards projects and process improvements.

Compliance:
Carry out clinical risk assessments.
Guided by the Clinic Manager and Projects and Compliance Lead, ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations to include ISO and CQC.
Ensure the Clinical Bank Team are familiar and adhere to the Policies and Procedures, in particular Mental Capacity Act (2015), Duty of Candour, Code of Confidentiality and GDPR.
Ensure team are prepared to respond to any major failures in line with the company’s procedures, ensuring a clear reactive and tracked workflow is in place, and training for all team including bank workers in the event of system failures and downtime procedures in line with the BCP.
Work closely with the Operations Manager and Clinical Manager to maintain CQC rating and work towards achieving outstanding.
Ensure the Centre is always presented at a high standard.
Under unforeseen circumstances, you may need to provide cover at Reception.

Management:
Lead, motivate, train and develop the Clinical team, with an emphasis on providing a Safe, Efficient, Quality and high customer service. Oversee the Personal Development for the team, actively promote ongoing learning, skill development and knowledge sharing culture across the wider team.
Participate, alongside the Clinical Manager, in weekly clinical director meetings and quarterly clinical governance meetings.
To review and continuously improve Clinical processes.
