We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Speech & Language Therapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in North London. The position is to start on 4th September. They are seeking a qualified Speech Therapist with previous NHS experience. This is a 3 month contract, likely to extend. Please ask the team for a full job description.
Job Description
Private Patients Unit (Inpatients) care of elderly, neuro, and palliative/ITU (tracheotomy trained). Needs to have an understanding of FEES and Video fluoroscopy. Provide swallowing assessments and communication assessments and interventions. Applicants must have approx. 4 years of adult experience, worked in acute medical, surgical and neuro.
Position Requirements
•Highly competitive rates of pay
•3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
•Full time hours (Monday – Friday)
•HCPC Registered
•Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
•Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Adult setting
