We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Occupational Therapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Birmingham. They are seeking a qualified OT with previous experience working within An Outpatient setting.
Job Description
Work within an outpatient vocational rehabilitation service for people of working age with Acquired Brain Injury. Be part of the interdisciplinary team (IDT) delivering high quality specialist occupational therapy for clients by adherence to clinical governance and evidence-based practice. Provide service in a range of community settings using highly developed specialist practice underpinned by theoretical knowledge/neuro qualifications. Be a specialist resource of information for health and social care staff, patients, families, carers and external agencies who may require advice, support and guidance in the management of these patients. Transfer individual patients’ on-going care to other agencies as appropriate and ensure that the service provided is conducted in a professional, efficient, and effective way. To meet the service specification objectives as part of a team providing high quality neuro services.
Position Requirements
•HCPC Registered
•Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
•Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within an Outpatient setting
