We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Dietitian to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Cambridgeshire. They are seeking a qualified Dietitian with previous NHS experience. Please ask the team for a full job description.
Job Description
§To be actively involved in the development of services within Critical Care and the wider Dietetics Department.
§Provide leadership to colleagues within the critical care service including day to day leadership, 1:1s and appraisals.
§To provide clinical advice and operational management in the absence of senior clinicians.
§Identification of relevant projects/service changes, participation in working groups/projects, implementation of changes and monitoring/audit of their impact.
§Leading on the development of guidelines, standards and policies within thoracic and cardiology services.
§To demonstrate participation in the setting of standards and policies within the dietetics department.
§To demonstrate the identification and implementation of appropriate audit tools to evaluate and ensure optimal service quality.
§To actively supervise and evaluate dietetic students.
§To participate in any national, regional or Trust-wide projects which may lead to improved patient care.
§To identify and lead audits relevant to service improvement and patient care.
To participate in research relevant to clinical area.
Position Requirements
•HCPC Registered
•Minimum of 4 Years postgraduate experience
•Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within the NHS.
•3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
•Full time hours (Monday – Friday)
•The successful candidate will be working within a strong team.
