IMC Locums is currently working closely with an esteemed NHS hospital in London to find a skilled and dedicated Locum PET CT Radiographer to join their imaging department. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the important work of the NHS and provide top-quality diagnostic imaging services using advanced PET CT technology.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
HCPC registration as a Radiographer.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in PET CT imaging, preferably within an NHS setting.
Proficiency in performing PET CT scans and interpreting images.
Sound knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and radiation safety protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Duties:

Conducting PET CT examinations with meticulous attention to detail, producing accurate and high-quality diagnostic images.
Administering radiopharmaceuticals and ensuring strict adherence to radiation safety protocols.
Collaborating closely with nuclear medicine physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze imaging results.
Providing compassionate care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the imaging process.
Maintaining meticulous records and ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality regulations.
