We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Physiotherapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in West London. They are seeking a qualified Physio with previous Community experience.
Job Description
To undertake specialised assessment and provide interventions to adults with complex medical presentations as an autonomous lone practitioner in the community setting. To monitor, evaluate and modify treatment and management for patients in order to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of intervention. Ensure that every patient involved in the rehabilitation process has meaningful and relevant timely goals that are challenging but achievable. To ensure accurate and evaluative records of treatment and patient care are maintained in accordance to professional and service standards. To be responsible for own practice and accountable for all aspects of physiotherapy treatment and care delivered to patients accepting responsibility for a designated caseload ensuring prioritisation where appropriate. To have specialist knowledge and to ensure the use of outcome measures to measure the efficacy and effectiveness of treatment.
Position Requirements
•HCPC Registered
•Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
•Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Community setting
•3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
•Full time hours (Monday – Friday)
•The successful candidate will be working within a strong team.
