IMC Locums are looking for a Nurse Endoscopist to work on a 6 Month Contract with an NHS Trust in Hampshire to help reduce their backlog. You would be required to work 10 Lists per week alongside 2 decontamination Technicians. Ideally this job would be for 1 full time Endoscopist but can be shared between 2.
The successful candidate should be;
- A fully trained Nurse Endoscopist able to complete Upper and Lower GI Endoscopic examinations and procedures, and fully trained to JAG accredited competencies as a non-medical Endoscopist for upper and lower endoscopy.
- Be an Independent non-Medical Prescriber.
- Have completed an associated academic qualification.
- Must be able to work in an autonomous and unsupervised capacity and have strong leadership skills.
