We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum SALT to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Berkshire. They are seeking a qualified SALT with previous Autsim with Children experience.
Job Description
•3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
•Full time hours (Monday – Friday)
•The successful candidate will be working within a strong team.
•To have highly developed specialist knowledge, experience and expertise in the specific clinical specialism area of autistic spectrum disorder diagnosis.
•To be a source of expertise for the defined area of specialism and be able to support and develop colleagues working in the field and be a point of reference for colleagues and managers where advice may be requested/needed.
•To undertake specialist clinical assessment and treatment of children and young people (CYPF) within the speciality who may have complex presentations and/or support other clinicians to do this.
Position Requirements
•HCPC Registered
•Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
•Enhanced DBS
•RiO training desirable
•SALT Qualification mandatory
•ADOS training mandatory
