IMC Locums are looking for a Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioner in Oxfordshire for a long-term locum placement.
Job Description
- To provide an assessment and treatment process for the referred patients in collaboration with professional colleagues and clinical services, to enable continuity of care.
- Carry out urgent care rota duties (liaison and duty)
- Deliver initial assessment and short-term therapeutic interventions.
- To contribute to the daily duty rota, including completing risk assessments, care plans, clinical notes and crisis plans where needed.
- Attend Multi agency meetings as and when required for the patients we support.
Provide specific interventions to young people accessing our service. - Contribute to the Initial assessments for children referred to CAMHS.
- Provide consultation and advice to professionals.
Position Requirements
- NMC registration
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role in the NHS.
- Enhanced DBS
- Ability to drive.
- Experience of Community CAMHS or CAMHS in general
