IMC Locums is a leading healthcare recruitment agency, specialising in the placement of locum doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals across the UK. We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced PET CT Technologist to join our team in London.
As a PET CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a range of imaging procedures, including PET CT scans, under the direction of a Radiologist or Nuclear Medicine Physician. You will be responsible for the quality control of images and for ensuring that all equipment is maintained and calibrated to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting PET CT scans and other imaging procedures
Ensuring the quality control of images
Maintaining and calibrating equipment
Providing support to Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine Physicians
Communicating effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
The ideal candidate will have:
A degree in Radiography or equivalent
HCPC registration
Relevant experience in PET CT imaging
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
A flexible and adaptable approach to work
