Locum Band 6 Community Neuro Physiotherapist – Bedfordshire

We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Physiotherapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Bedfordshire. They are seeking a qualified Therapist with previous Community and Neuro experience.
Job Description
- The post holder is a member of the Neuro Rehab team/ Early supported discharge Stroke service and will be responsible for the assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualised physiotherapy therapy intervention to patients living in the community.
- To be responsible for coordinating intervention for designated clients acting as their case manager whilst they are receiving input from service.
- To Contributes to service development and project leadership
- To undertake lone working in the community
- Participate in continuing professional development.
- To work a variety of shift patterns which include weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
- To supervise, educate and assess performance of physiotherapy students. This would be to a graduate level and involve working with the universities to ensure the standard of practice and teaching meets the standards set by the degree level qualification.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Position Requirements
- Full time hours (Monday – Friday)
- Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
- Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Community setting
- HCPC Registered
- Highly competitive rates of pay
- 3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
